Hey, everyone! Moony's Plush Plaza is going to be here at the tenth Youmacon, so if you're otaku-ing it up at the convention, swing by the Artist Alley and come find me! Pssst, I'll have candy to hand out, too. It's Halloween, after all. Can't wait to see all the cosplays and whatnot. If I'm not at my table, I'm gonna be wandering around somewhere. Look for the artist badge that says Moony!
Until next time,
Cheers

Youmacon and New Stuff
Hello again. It sure has been a while since my last post. I've been so busy with so many things lately that I haven't had time, but I'm still crocheting away. Still looking for new ideas for things to make, since I'll be at Youmacon X this year as more than just a con-goer. I'm going to be selling! Super nervous about it, too. I'm hoping with as expensive as preparations are, that I'll at least make decent profit. And that of course means having plenty of things made to sell.
So as a bit of a teaser, and since they've revealed a League of Legends voice actor as a guest at the convention, I've decided to try my hand at making...POROS~!

Adorable, isn't it? <3 I'm planning on making more of these if I can, maybe make different variations, like having mustaches or something (lol manly Braum). You can click the pic above to go to the etsy listing if you'd like one. Each poro comes with a delicious Poro-Snax for it to enjoy. And be sure to keep an eye on the shop for new things. I usually have something new every few weeks and there's plenty more in the making.
Until next time,
Cheers

Kawaii Star Keychain Pattern
Hi, people. It's been forever since I've written another post, but since I've had people asking me about this pattern, I thought I'd get my butt in gear and actually get it typed out. So, let's get started. This is what we're making! (PS. You can click the pic to see the etsy listing if you're not crochet savvy but still want one of these cuties.)
Here's what you'll need:
Front/Back: Make 2
Rnd 1: 5sc in magic ring (5sc)
Rnd 2: inc in each sc (10sc)
Rnd 3: [sc, inc] 5 times (15sc)
*3sc, ch 1, turn (3sc)
3sc, ch 1, turn (3sc)
dec across all three sc^ (1sc)*
^To do the decrease, insert the hook into the first sc and pull up a loop. Insert the hook into the next sc and pull up another loop. Then insert the hook into the last sc and pull up another loop so there is a total of four loops, then yarn over and pull through all the loops on the hook.
Fasten off, reattach yarn in the next free sc of your circle.
Repeat ** for each of the remaining points, don't fasten off after the 5th point.
Instead, ch 1 and then sc around the whole star evenly for one row and fasten off.
Attach two eyes to your front side and then sew the front and back together with wrong sides together, using the front loops from either side only.
Don't forget to stuff before completely closing up your seam.
After it's all sewn up, sew your bit of chain to the top of the star and add a little "blush" to its cheeks with your fabric marker. And then you're done! Super easy.
If you have any problems or questions, just let me know. Enjoy!
Until next time,
Cheers

Nyan nyan nyan~
Hello again! Nothing terribly exciting to post at the moment, though I will be putting up a free pattern quite soon. But for the moment, I'd just like to share the latest bit of inspiration I've had. Originally made for a contest on deviantART, I decided to put the finished product in my etsy shop. It's Nyan Cat! Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan~ You can get one for yourself by clicking the image below!

Into the Calm and the Quiet
I know it's been a while since my last blog post. I've been quite busy and have gotten a major increase in hours at my job, not to mention the amount of lost sleep with working almost every night. I've also gotten quite a bit of disappointment because I wanted to take Moony's Plush Plaza to AlmaCon 2014 since I went to that convention earlier this year and enjoyed it. But they did a poor job of contacting artists, so I'm giving up on that and will try for a different convention, perhaps a bit later next year.
In the meantime, I'm bound to be busy with the holiday rush. My poor fingers... ;~; Once things have quieted down again, hopefully I can return to my various other projects and build up my inventory. So, to anyone who reads this, I'm not dead, just floating along trying to make too many different ends meet. Here's hoping the next post will be full of good news and new products.
Until next time,
Cheers

New Items
So JAFAX 18 went okay. Not exactly as well as I'd hoped, but I still sold quite a few things. I guess my stuff's a bit on the pricey side. Still trying to figure out how to price my work, but anywho...
I've been pretty busy lately with work and new games and whatnot. Darn you and your addictiveness, Shin Megami Tensei IV... But nonetheless, I do have a couple new things available. A group I'm a part of on deviantART was having a little contest based on keychains, so I made a giant panda and red panda. They're itty bitty and fit in the palm of your hand. You can look at them in detail by clicking this picture:
I've also been making the sailor scouts from Sailor Moon and have everybody from Mercury to Pluto and even Chibi Usa and Tuxedo Mask. You can look at the gallery for those by clicking this picture:
And another thing, the patterns for both the pandas above as well as my Big Macintosh (my most popular pony) are available as well. You can check out my patterns section by clicking this picture:
So that's all for the time being, pretty much. Hopefully I can make some new things soon.
Until next time,
Cheers

JAFAX 18
Alright, I know I haven't taken the time to write one of these in a while, but with good reason. I've been so busy preparing for my next convention...
JAFAX 18, aw yeah.
It's gonna be sweet. Well, I hope so, anyway. I'll be cosplaying as Hilda/Touko from Pokemon Black and White at my table! Should be fun. Can't wait to see everybody! I'll have some new stuff that's not yet on my Etsy.
Speaking of which, my shop is currently on hiatus to give me more time to build up my inventory for the convention. :< Sorry, peoples, but I'll be back. And maybe you'll see me at JAFAX.
Until next time,
Cheers
